A daily sit

What I have learned by sitting on my yoga mat; by having a sacred moment in each day, is to create a choice. I have learned over the years with these sacred practices that we in-fact do have a choice in life. To have a beautiful and harmonious joyful life and evidently are not doomed to be overwhelmed.

The choice becomes bigger the more that you choose to amplify and tune into the softness of your heart, the more the heart space you recognize, it is your choice to tap in to your inner journey. The youthfulness, the playfulness of your child self.

As I see it, when I am meditating, journaling, singing mantra’s or in ceremony, I am simply placing seeds. To ensure that the soil is fertile I try at consistency with my practice, and with this access I release or step away from my discord or resistance. It is in this sit that I say, I allow the negative emotions, and in that space they are so much invited that these thoughts are cared for by my positive thoughts. Ah, I feel a bit better.

So, in short I am guided by building a tool-kit. With this sacred tool kit that I am building each day. I place seeds, I work on the soil and when I meditate I envision the inner garden (bliss) . The more that I build and add to this inner garden, the more exciting it is to sit on the mat. I’ve realized that I am less addicted to the less than thoughts and more intrigued to the essence of the vibrational alignment of my true path. Since that is what like to ones self is drawn, I tend to meet new people on this path that match this sort of love and harmony in this way.

I ponder the question, What seeds do you plant or plan to plant in your garden today??

Finding freedom through letting go is both difficult and liberating. It requires us to confront our deepest fears and beliefs, to relinquish the illusion of control, and to embrace the unknown. But it is in this surrender that true liberation lies. Letting go begins with believing in ourselves, in our inherent worthiness and strength. It is a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, of unraveling the layers of conditioning and societal expectations to uncover the essence of who we truly are.

Often, spirit uses various aspects of our lives—be it romantic relationships, work, or finances—as mirrors to reflect back to us the areas where we are holding on too tightly. These experiences serve as opportunities for growth and transformation, guiding us towards the path of release and renewal.

It is through the act of letting go that we come into closer alignment with our soul, with the essence of our being. We reconnect with the rhythm of our breath, the wisdom of our intuition, and the flow of life itself. In releasing the need to control, we open ourselves up to the infinite possibilities that exist beyond our limited perceptions. Letting go is not about giving up or losing control—it is about surrendering to the natural flow of life, trusting in the process, and allowing ourselves to be carried forward by the currents of grace. It is a profound act of self-love and self-compassion, a gift we give ourselves to experience the true freedom that comes from within.

As we embark on this journey of letting go, may we find solace in the knowledge that we are not alone. We are supported by the Universe, our higher powers, Creator, our inner guidance, Spirit Guides, Ancestors, and by the infinite wisdom that resides within each of us. And in the letting go, may we discover the boundless freedom that awaits us on the other side. For in the act of letting go, we find true liberation and the freedom to live in joy and unconditional love.
